If you are aiming for a peachy booty then this plan is for you. Every week you will perform full body workouts, but the main focus will be on your lower body. The 12 week program is split into 3 phases, each 4 weeks long, with new exercises and routines being introduced in each phase to increase the level of intensity.

Location:  Gym based

Workouts per week:  I have created this program so you can either choose from a 5-day workout split or a 4-day workout split, depending on how many times you can make it to the gym and how much volume you would like to perform.

You will need: A fully equipped gym. Barbell and Plates, Resistance band & Big loop resistance band, Adjustable Bench, Squat rack/Smith machine, Pull-up bar, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, 45-Degree hyper, Cable machine, High step/box, Ab wheel roller, Parallel bars, Seated abduction machine, Pec Deck Machine, Leg press machine, Treadmill/ Stepper/ Stairmaster/ Cycle/ Rower.

*If you don’t have some of the above equipment in your gym, you can still purchase the guide as there are alternative exercises provided in the program. You can also drop me an email and I will be more than happy to suggest and advise alternative options.

Cardio: Low, a combination of HIIT & LISS twice per week.

Focus: Booty! This gym based program focuses on your lower body however, during the week includes exercises that will target your full body.

Level: Beginner/ Intermediate

LARGE LOOP RESISTANCE BAND PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Long loop resistance bands are a great addition to any workout, as they add extra resistance and intensity to any home or gym session. Resistance bands are compact making them easily portable without taking up a lot of storage space. Resistance bands help isolate and build muscle strength. The printed fabric makes them super comfortable and the inner non slip grips on the inside of the band ensure they don't roll or slip down when you are using them.

Our resistance bands come in a drawstring pouch so you can easily take them with you to the gym and store them away neatly into your bag.

How do resistance bands work?

Resistance bands like dumbbells, barbells, or any other free weights, provide external resistance that your muscles have to work against. When your pushing against a resistance band during an exercise, your muscles have to engage to fight the tension. When you add a resistance band to any exercise your muscles are under tension during both the eccentric and concentric phases of the exercise, meaning you create constant tension throughout the range of motion of the exercise. Unlike, if you was performing a dumbbell bicep curl you are likely to feel a release of tension during the eccentric phase of the exercise.

What strength band should I use?

We have a variety of different strengths available for our large loop bands such as: Light & medium.

Different bands have different levels of stretch to them therefore, the heavier the band is the less flexible they are and you will have more tension and resistance.

Note: The strengths in the short bands differ from those in the long bands. For example the light long band is not the same strength as the light mini band. The difference in strength between the light and medium long band is less than that between the light and medium mini band.

What exercises can I do with resistance bands?

You can loop the resistance band around any stable object such as a rack,  stand, door handle, or simply use them on their own.

Glutes - Squats, hip trusts, glute bridges, kickbacks

Legs- Deadlifts, leg extensions, hamstring curls, calf raises, assisted pistol squats

Upper body- Assisted pull-ups, assisted chin-ups, rows, front raises, overhead press
